Senior DevOps Engineer - Edvantis

We’re opening the position of Senior DevOps to join the new team to design new and improve existing deployment pipeline for our customers. They provide SAAS solutions that help companies to optimize their businesses. These solutions include business planning & execution, processes automation and optimization. The Customer’s platform leverages industry-leading artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) for better predictions and prevention of disruptions across the businesses. Customer value our experience , and want to extend a team to develop a new functionality.


  • Development Environment ownership and maintenance
  • Participating in the release process
  • Participates in team activities such as backlog grooming, planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Collaborating with the team to identify and fix technical problems
  • Implementing the best practices and coding standards of the project
  • Working on identifying the project risk and planning mitigation action with the Account Manager at the project level
  • Design of the deployment process
  • Build deployable images
  • Ansible code changes to spin up containers (may need to understand when to spin up VM or containers)
  • Pipeline changes to deploy containers
  • Discussion with cloud on how the spinning up would happen (how to create containers on demand)
  • Pipeline changes to consume YAMLs from UI to deploy containers


  • 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Experience in executing under scrum/agile framework
  • Java, JRE, J2EE environments understanding
  • ANT, Maven builds
  • Oracle DB and Java Applications deployment understanding (JDBC, Datasource, XA, non-XA, connection strings etc.)
  • Understanding of J2EE application deployments is a plus, (jar, war, ear, JMX, MBeans etc.)
  • Ansible, Docker, Azure is a plus
  • WebSphere/WebLogic experience is a big plus
  • Git, Jenkins, github actions understanding
  • English level — Upper-Intermediate
