Edvantis is looking for a Senior Python Engineer to extend the existing customer team. They provide SAAS solutions that help companies to optimize their businesses. These solutions include business planning & execution, processes automation, and optimization. The Customer’s platform leverages industry-leading artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) for better predictions and prevention of disruptions across the businesses. The customer values our experience and wants to extend a team to develop new functionality.
Responsibilities:
- Work together with the machine learning experts, engineers, and project managers to advance our data science products
- Design and develop data-intensive distributed systems in Python
- Support onboarding new customers with your expertise in organizational or data-intensive tasks
- Work in an agile team with emphasis on quality, testability, and automation
- Develops quality software (including effective test code) according to clean code principles
- Participates in team activities such as backlog grooming, planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Requirements:
- 4+ years of Python programming experience
- 2+ years of data science experience
- Working knowledge of data science and machine learning foundations
- Experience with SQL, Datasets/Databases,
- Experience with Spark, Dask, Flask, Exasol, Parquet
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields
- English level — Upper-Intermediate
