Challenge
Public transport authorities in Sweden introduced a new standard for the country’s public transport ticketing systems. ATRON Systems Sweden AB required a technology partner to facilitate standard implementation.
Main Goals
- Make the ticketing system compliant with the Biljett- och Betalstandar (BoB) standard
- Ensure fast time-to-market to maintain a competitive position
Solution
During the project discovery stage, Edvantis and ATRON estimated the project scope. A team of four backend developers and one tech lead was assembled. Edvantis engineers performed backend development, API integration, and end-to-end integration testing in line with the BoB standards. The project is still ongoing as BoB standard requirements evolve as we speak.
