We’re opening the position of a Senior Software Engineer (.NET, Blazor) to work on a project of our Customer – an international company that develops software solutions for small and mid-sized municipalities. The project focuses on a product suite that supports key local government operations, including finance, utility billing, HR, payroll, online payments, tax collection, and asset management.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be a hands-on senior contributor working as part of the team developing our cloud-based platform that is built on C#/.NET, Blazor, SQL, and Microsoft Azure. You’ll own complex, cross-cutting features end to end, contribute to architectural decisions, and be expected to demonstrate technical leadership by raising the bar on code quality, testing, and delivery. Working fully remotely, you’ll have daily exposure to a wide range of technical challenges and real customer outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Own large features and systems end to end – from discovery and design through deployment and ongoing operation
  • Participate in architecture and system design: promote modularity, clear boundaries, scalability, reliability, security, and cost awareness
  • Contribute to and help socialize design proposals (RFCs/ADRs) for significant decisions
  • Follow and strengthen team standards and process – work within the team’s established coding standards, review practices, and delivery process; conduct thorough code reviews (design, performance, security, maintainability) with fast turnaround, and contribute ideas to improve the way the team works
  • Master the application, data, and performance layers: resolve the toughest defects and bottlenecks; optimize Entity Framework, SQL queries, indexing, and caching; and establish robust, reusable Blazor component patterns
  • Drive cloud & DevOps excellence on Azure: improve Azure DevOps pipelines and release strategies, build meaningful observability (Application Insights/Log Analytics), and strengthen reliability, recovery, and cost optimization
  • Elevate testing standards: advocate testable design, ensure strong unit and integration coverage, and partner with QA Engineers on edge cases and handoffs
  • Work AI-first: use AI coding agents/assistants and AI-assisted code-review workflows at a high level as part of your daily delivery, and share what works with the team
  • Manage technical debt: identify, document, and quantify it, and propose pragmatic remediation
  • Share knowledge while engaged: pair on complex work, give constructive code & design feedback, and document what you build so the team can carry it forward
  • Champion secure design and reliability: promote secure coding, threat modeling, and OWASP best practices; contribute to incident response and root-cause analysis as needed (on-call negotiable)
  • Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders by translating technical trade-offs into business terms and setting realistic expectations

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in developing enterprise software solutions
  • Deep expertise in C#/.NET – async/concurrency, dependency injection, and performance tuning
  • Production experience with a modern component-based UI framework (Blazor preferred) or strong equivalent experience with Angular, React, or a similar framework and the ability to ramp quickly on Blazor
  • Hands-on expertise with a major cloud platform – Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure SQL, Storage, Key Vault, Application Insights) preferred, or comparable experience with AWS or a similar cloud and the ability to ramp on Azure
  • Strong MS SQL Server fundamentals – relational modeling and query/performance optimization
  • AI-assisted development as a daily practice – hands-on use of AI coding agents/assistants and AI-assisted code review in a professional workflow
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to architecture and deliver complex features end to end
  • Excellence in code reviews and testing strategy, and discipline to work within established standards and process
  • Experience with Git and modern CI/CD practices
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence across functions (Development, QA, PM, UX, Operations)
  • English level – Upper-Intermediate or higher

Will be a plus:

  • Skills in building with generative AI – integrating LLMs, RAG, or AI agents into product features (beyond using an AI code assistant)
  • Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and release management
  • Experience with GitHub (including GitHub Actions) and Jira (we are migrating toward these tools)
  • Expertise in distributed systems and messaging/eventing (e.g., Azure Service Bus, Event Grid)
  • Understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code and environment strategy
  • Security depth, including proficiency in secure coding, threat modeling, OWASP, and secrets management

We offer:

  • Remote-first work model with flexible working hours (we provide all equipment)
  • Comfortable and fully equipped offices in Lviv and Rzeszów
  • Competitive compensation with regular performance reviews
  • Referral Bonus Program
  • 18 paid vacation days per year
  • 12 days of paid sick leave per year
  • Extra paid leave (blood donation, marriage, childbirth, etc.)
  • Health & wellness support: either a monthly budget for medical insurance and sports activities, or a full medical insurance plan, depending on your cooperation model
  • Mental Health Program – company-covered psychologist consultations, with an annual coverage limit
  • English, German, and Polish language courses and Speaking Clubs
  • Corporate merch gifts for your special dates
  • Corporate subscription to learning platforms, regular meetups and webinars
  • Friendly team that values accountability, innovation, teamwork, and customer satisfaction
  • Maternity leave
  • Inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and treated equally. We proudly partner with VeteranHub to support Ukrainian veterans
  • We are committed to supporting Ukraine and actively participate in charity initiatives
