We’re opening the position of a Technical Leader to work on a project of our Customer – an international company that develops software solutions for small and mid-sized municipalities. The project focuses on a product suite that supports key local government operations, including finance, utility billing, HR, payroll, online payments, tax collection, and asset management.

This is both a deeply hands-on engineering role and a technical leadership role: you will build across the stack, with your center of gravity in the .NET 10 back end, set the patterns, lead one other Senior Full-Stack Engineer, partner with the QA Automation Engineer, and be accountable for what a small, senior Platform Development Team ships. You will lead the team primarily by doing, so the assignment assumes an active involvement in all the processes.

This assignment assumes availability of the Candidate till 10:00 PM (Kyiv time).

Responsibilities:

  • Lead by doing: write and review the hardest code, design the critical paths, and set the standard for FastEndpoints, FluentResults, testing, error handling, and observability across our .NET 10 services (backend-for-frontend, user management, and more) on Azure
  • Own identity, authorization, and tenancy correctness across Auth0, Azure API Management, and our service layer, where mistakes are security incidents
  • Guide EF Core and Dapper data design against Azure SQL for correctness and performance at scale, ensuring no N+1s, no accidental cross-tenant reads, and no surprise table scans
  • Work across the stack when Delivery calls for it, including the Angular 19 front end, so no part of the platform stalls on a single person
  • Shape the messaging & integration backbone and Azure Service Bus events between the platform and the Acquired Module teams
  • Lead the team day to day, mentor the other Senior Full-Stack Engineer, run pragmatic design and code reviews, and create the conditions for senior specialists to do their best work
  • Represent the platform in cross-team architecture decisions and defend those decisions with clear reasoning and trade-offs

Requirements:

  • Availability till 10:00 PM (Kyiv time)
  • Deep .NET/Azure expertise, including knowledge of how distributed systems fail and how to build ones that do not
  • Full-stack capability with the primary depth in the back-end part but also working confidently with the Angular/TypeScript front end – enough to design across the boundary, review it, and ship it when needed
  • Ability to design non-trivial systems, make difficult trade-offs, take ownership and responsibility of the outcomes, and provide reasoning for your technical decisions
  • Ability to set direction and lead through clarity and example, not gatekeeping
  • Uncompromising accountability to own the reliability and security of what the team ships (when it is wrong, you say so first, and then you fix the cause)
  • Independent, defensible thinking enabling you to form your own view from first principles, invite challenge, and be moved by a better argument, expecting the same from your team in return
  • English level – Upper-Intermediate or higher

We offer:

  • Remote-first work model with flexible working hours (we provide all equipment)
  • Comfortable and fully equipped offices in Lviv and Rzeszów
  • Competitive compensation with regular performance reviews
  • Referral Bonus Program
  • 18 paid vacation days per year
  • 12 days of paid sick leave per year
  • Extra paid leave (blood donation, marriage, childbirth, etc.)
  • Health & wellness support: either a monthly budget for medical insurance and sports activities, or a full medical insurance plan, depending on your cooperation model
  • Mental Health Program – company-covered psychologist consultations, with an annual coverage limit
  • English, German, and Polish language courses and Speaking Clubs
  • Corporate merch gifts for your special dates
  • Corporate subscription to learning platforms, regular meetups and webinars
  • Friendly team that values accountability, innovation, teamwork, and customer satisfaction
  • Maternity leave
  • Inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and treated equally. We proudly partner with VeteranHub to support Ukrainian veterans
  • We are committed to supporting Ukraine and actively participate in charity initiatives
