We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to process of building scalable back-end systems in the Logistics domain. The role focuses on developing services responsible for data ingestion, processing, and tracking across complex supply chain workflows.
The project involvement period is 3 months.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Client, team members, and other stakeholders
- Deliver high-quality code
- Actively participate in discussions
- Work from technical specifications to independently clarify requirements and develop, modify, and maintain moderately complex software products
- Consider overall customer experience, including DoD, quality and performance, while working through tasks, projects, and code reviews
- Analyze and troubleshoot problems and make recommendations for remediation
- Solve routine problems and escalate complex problems, issues, and risks to PM
- Conduct and participate in product reviews; be ready to demo the results of the user stories/tasks completed within the Sprint
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in software development
- Skills to design, develop, and maintain complex, scalable back-end systems
- Ability to perform code reviews, mentor Junior Engineers, and ensure best practices
- Independence to drive features from concept to production
- Proficiency in unit testing using JUnit and MockitoWork
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Strong availability in the first half of the day
- Ability to estimate the work and provide the deadlines for individual assignments
- Strong soft skills
- English level – Upper-Intermediate or higher (spoken and written)
